I've always thought that Alice, the female terrorist in the movie, was too sexy for this kid's film. In fact, she was the only reason the movie was worth watching at all. It was really hot to see the traps break through her cold exterior to reveal her vulnerable and girlish side. The reversal from a smug and aloof ice-queen to a messy and humiliated babe was just so very satisfying. Her sadistic treatment of Mrs Hess only made her deserve her comeuppance much more.

Anyone else agree? What were your favorite scenes of her?

It was good to have a female villainess in a slapstick role. Alice was made to come across as a sophisticated and no nonsense spy. That was the perfect set up for her to be the recipient of those traps, especially the flowerpots and mud scenes.

I agree with you completely. The set-up was too fitting. IMO it was nice to see her composure robbed from her when she gets dragged by the dog, her cold exterior crack when she split her pants, and to see her sophisticated airs be ruined by her flopping down into the mud pit. Those scenes were priceless.
