While I do think a teenage Kevin McAllister wold have been interesting but I wonder if it would have been a retrend of the first two films.

Apparently this one was planned around the same time 2 was getting made, so I doubt there were many changes made. If Culkin wanted to come back, the computer chip plot probably would have been the same, Kevin likely would have been 17 with chicken pox. Maybe instead of a remote control car it would've been a video game system or something. The film had little to do with Christmas, so I don't imagine the family was going on yet another vacation, leaving Kevin behind.
