John hughes made the awsome and hilarious 2 movies. this is a perect example of a needless and stupid sequel. its like godfather part, or any number of sequels where it overstays its welcome and becomes a "bad movie". actually, godfather 3 wasnt THAT bad, its great compared to this third movie.

It wasn't a criticism of the "knew" aspects of this sequel, but rather that it's redundant and that the franchise had overstayed it's welcome. I have to agree, and based on the low rating and dismal box office returns, I know I'm not the only one.

shareI actually enjoy it. I don't want to make assumptions, but from what I observe with people I know, many seem to not like this one because they compare it too much to the first two. Of course the first two are better by miles.
However, if you simply take it as a stand-alone movie, it really isn't that bad. I still laugh as an adult at some moments. I think it's an enjoyable movie.
Now, if you want to see something REALLY awful, watch Home Alone 4. Home Alone 3 is an absolute masterpiece next to that.
yes. i watch all three home alone film over last 2 week and this film should not be call home alone. it is insult to put this film with first two home alone, which are masterpeace christmas film, goats. home alone 3 is shit film by compare!
