Better than the first two films.
Home Alone 3 is underrated and more entertaining than the first two flicks. The kid in Home Alone 3 can actually act, whereas Macaulay Culkin could not act at all, he sounded like he was literally reading his lines from a sheet of paper.
Home Alone 3's bad guys are more interesting, they're still dumb, but not as to the extent of Harry and Marv from the first 2.
Home Alone 3 has more of a family vibe, probably because the mother didn't leave the town, she just went to work.
The kid in Home Alone 1 and 2 was unlikable - the disrespect that he showed to his mother was too much - calling his mother "dummy" and telling her that he doesn't want to see her again for his entire life, smh it was over the top. Alex in Home Alone 3 was disrespectful to his mother as well during one scene but not to the extent that the other boy was.
Home Alone 3 is more slapstick and looks less realistic than the first 2, but it's still funnier (the third movie, that is) in my opinion.
I agree with Roger Ebert on this film, so much better.
Home Alone 3 is always pushed aside, and Home Alone 1 and 2 are seen as more iconic, the positive thing about the first two flicks is that they're the stepping stone for the third one.
