The advanced Fourier system
The first lecture we see Lambeau delivering obviously pertains to Fourier Series. He ends class by saying there is a challenge problem written on the hallway board related to an "advanced Fourier system." It was actually a graph theory problem having absolutely nothing to do with the Fourier Series, the Fourier Integral, or anything related. Some of the technical details of this film are legitimate, which makes that stupid mistake (expected in most movies) rather glaring.
