Filming Locations

I travel around the country visiting locations from TV and films and I went to a ton of Good Will Hunting sites recently (Will/Sean's houses, the park bench, courthouse, etc.) and wrote about the whole thing. http://www.tvtravelswithlori.com if anyone's interested!

I read it, very interesting.

That weird decorative addition to Robin William's house looks naff. What were they thinking?

I hear that area is becoming gentrified.

In the film, Will gets a train back from his sessions with Sean, so I guess in the film they live some distance apart.

In reality, the houses actually back onto each other and meet where the narrow road Chuckie drives down to pick up Will.

Maybe, but their houses are practically touching corner to corner, so in the amount of time it would've taken him to even start the car, he could've walked to Sean's house and back. Save your gas, Will!! :)

And yes, the area is completely gentrified. Not a piece of trash in sight. It's incredible.

Sean's office is at bunker hill community college, community college is a train stop on the orange line around here, and actually probably the best way to get there. Not a lot of parking over there so it's not necessarily the distance it's the convenience
