Who else liked the snowy setting?

The snowy setting added a whole different feel to this film. It's not very good by any means, but I believe it added a certain touch that wouldn't have been there if filmed in sunny/fair weather. I guess I feel as if it added an err of claustrophobia which goes well with the film. 5 out of 10

Well, what stereotype goes along with traveling through Colorado? Snow. Snow snow snow. The writers definitely did their geography homework with the train routes and towns in Colorado (I should know, I live in Pueblo [West], I've lived in Alamosa, I've traveled multiple times through the La Veta pass as well as La Veta, my mother's from Salida...) everything of the script was right on with the geography, but some of the scenery of the mountains and such, it wasn't correct. As well as what IMDB says about the errors with the CO State Patrol with what their wardrobe was and what they drove in '97 along with the sets of the hotel and the people in them in CO. It just shows the stereotypes we're covered with. It's rare to see someone, including the elderly, dressing like mountain men. To be perfectly honest, the other stereotype of the ski resorts in CO and how everyone dresses is closer to the truth, the big ski coats with jeans and a beanie. I think they should've spent time in a couple of the bigger towns in the San Luis Valley to actually see the wardrobe and such and not just going off of stereotypes.

OK, off of my ranting and "geography" part... Overall, I thought the movie was very good. Yes, we all knew Danny Glover's character was the killer all along, but the little twists that the audience knew, but the rest of the characters in the movie didn't know was better than going back and forth between twists of Jared Leto's character being the killer, than another twist rounding back at Danny Glover's character. That would've been systematic with movies.

I hate snow and cold weather, that is why I moved from NY to SC. I did enjoy seeing the snow as I sat in y nice warm house watching it.
