Wonderful up until the last 60 seconds!

Unlike some, I enjoyed the ending with the fall/party etc (especially the 1st time), but even the 1st time, I never liked that he follows Christine out to her cab ride and asks to date her. She says he can tag along with her to the airport (how romantic!) and he says okay, ditching an entire party to pursue a girl that gigs all around the world and doesn't even know her own life story because she's that disillusioned by her own CRS creations.

I never felt that she was attractive or endearing. She manipulates him the whole way and yet he felt something for her despite acknowledging that he has no idea who she really is?!?! It's terrible. The last line of the movie is "would you like to have a coffee with me at the airport?"...really?

I think the point was to showcase the trauma bond that occurred between them.

The real question, however, is whether or not she truly has feelings for him.

The fact that he would leave a big party with all of those important people to go to the airport to have coffee with her shows that he's changed. All of that was his life before and he was empty and lonely. Nobody said they live happily ever after, but at least he's taking a step in the right direction.

He needs change, sure, but she's not the way to go. It would have been better if she had said 'go back to your party, you're not feeling right.' - End of movie.

Same for me. Everything in this movie is great until he jumps and they catch him. That got a bit too much

Yeah I was like 'that was lucky he jumped at the right spot'. It would have made sense if the rooftop was all fenced except one part to force him to jump from that one spot, it would certainly clean up the storyline.

The scene was great. It's like "It's a Wonderful Life". There is no need to analyze things to death in a movie. Just enjoy it for what it is. If it seems like a miracle then buy it at face value. If you want to watch the news through a movie, then why not just watch the news?

Because everything needs to be in context in a movie that has already set up it's rules within that certain context.

We're not talking about an abstract, art, messed up David Lynch movie where a teddy bear may be raping a tree and there will always be some artsy nut trying to make sense on why it's a great scene.

The Game tells us it's rules, there's nothing magical to it, it's a company that dedicates itself to making these experiences and it does things like telling us there are scuba divers ready to save him when the car went into the water, etc.

Then the movie does a complete 180 and ends on a ridiculous suicide attempt. That part just takes the whole thing to far and it is difficult to enjoy. But that's just the only part of the movie I didn't like, I love the rest and this is just my opinion.
