SEALS training
I know this is a movie... but how realistic is the training from the movie and the real life?
shareI suggest you check out the documentary Seal BUDS 234, it follows the basic training for Navy Seal candidates. I think it's the best one out there, since the actual training full SEALS is not well documented.
shareMy question is,do they really take Navy SEALS on training to those big battles. what if they get killed,or was that just extra drama for the movie. i hope not cause my friend is seriously thinking of joining,i'll talk his ass out of that quick.

Do you mean the live exercise turned into an actual mission? Then no. Putting recruits into an actual mission would quickly become a powderkeg on Capital Hill / White House scale that noone would want to be a part of.
As far as I know the training is pretty intense and they try to make it as realistic as possible, but it is always under controlled circumstances.
