Brutal to watch, but very well made
Last night I did a search on Roku for 'Funny People', and this popped up. All I saw was the cover art, and the year. Something compelled me to watch it. And I'm very glad I did! My favorite thing about this film is the fact that there is no score or soundtrack, other than the couple of instances where the characters are actually listening to music. The silence made the most intense scenes even more painful and difficult to sit through. This is a movie that will definitely stick with me, I don't know if I'll ever watch it again. One time might just be enough
