WTF was he thinking I mean I had to come on here and post a whole thread on this I mean milk and pizza I gaaaa ggaaaaa almost through up just hearing it.

some pregnant ladies have serious heartburn.
also, sometimes some really odd desires occur during pregnancy. This could have been one such.

Well, I know most peeps drink soda with pizza (my choice), but from what I know regarding the diets of prego women, soda is off limits and milk has lots of nutrients and stuff.

I thought it was gross too, but it was the 90's. You always saw families drink milk with their dinner in movies and TV shows.

I don't get why people think that's gross. I drink milk when I have pizza sometimes.

Are you guys kidding? I always have milk with pizza. What's the preffered alternative, soda?

I usually stick to water when I'm eating but milk goes with a lot of things imo...it's especially good when you're eating spicy food to extinguish fires in your mouth.

I don't get the big deal, especially when you drink low-fat milk it has a fairly neutral taste. Plus it could be pregnant Isabel's craving or just a way to avoid heartburn as mentioned before.

ice cold milk is what i use to have with those LP size pizza's.
then i went to Quarts of COLT 45.
BIG change, huh. then just cold beer. in restaurants-a Martini, or two.

I cannot eat pizza without a glass of milk. In fact, everytime my husband asks "wanna get a pizza?" I ask "is there milk at home?"

The short one's gawking at me and the tall one's being very droll.

she was pregnant. the pepperoni would give her heartburn and the milk would cool it down.

I never thought that milk and pizza were an unsavory combination. That sounds perfectly fine to me. And as other posters have pointed out, she was pregnant so the only other alternatives would be what, water and juice? Soda/wine/beer are out of the question because she's pregnant. Maybe milk is comforting/soothing. It just sounds like a very comfortable meal to me.
