You can't get divorced if the wife is pregnant. That is pretty much common in the US. Most if not all of the states have this law.

In the state of Nevada you CAN get a divorce if the wife is pregnant at time of separation. While not pregnant at the time I did read through the paperwork during my divorce and found you can do so.
Check your facts with more credible sites next time would you?

BTW, I provided a basic link so as not to go over the heads of people less familiar with the concept of Common Law (traditional law handed down through the ages, based on tradition, from England. It can be referenced in the volumes of American Jurisprudence). With few exceptions, the common law is the same in all 50 states.
Of course you can lie in court. It's done so often they have a name for it: perjury. It does come with significant penalties, though.
