15 years later, still worst big budget movie I have seen
Watching it for first time since it first came out, and its just as horrible as I remember.
I have seen some truly horrible movies, but this one is at the top of the list.

AGREED ...and the fact it has a 7.3 here on IMDb is insane...must be mainly obama supporters voting on this site.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is everything that is wrong with IMDB summed up in a nutshell. When it doubt, randomly mention Obama.

The movie actually got critical acclaim. The people who disliked it are a huge minority.

This movie was so bad the throngs that didn't like it would not waste their time reviewing it...... Take the phrase Far-Fetched and multiply it by 100 and you still would have a more believable flick. From the premise to the final script.... just bad.
shareBy far the most imaginative scenario it has been filmed ever, even independence day has more meaning than this blockbuster
shareThanks Obama.
*gasp* OH-MY-GOD! *roll credits* GENIUS!
Clearly you and the OP haven't seen many Blockbuster films. And I'm not an Obama supporter and I enjoyed this movie.

Welcome to the middle of nowhere--the center of everywhere.
Been some years since I have seen a genuine example of the thanks Obama-meme.
shareIf that is true you really haven't seen any horrible movies. Especially if you think this is the worst of all.

shareYeeesh! It's not a good movie, but THE WORST?
Have you seen any of the Transformers movies? That tacked-on Indiana Jones movie? Real Steel? Battleship? The Last Airbender (or any other M. Night Shamamamalamalmalmalan movie after The Sixth Sense? I could go on, but I'm already developing a headache recalling all of this schlock cinema.
Face/Off is a typical 90's action movie; loaded with all of the tropes audiences had come to expect. There is nothing exceptionally good or bad about it, it's just par for the course.
I am Jack's IMDb post.share
or any other M. Night Shamamamalamalmalmalan movie after The Sixth Sense
How's this for a coincidence?
I watched Fight Club followed by Face/Off today.
face off isnt meant to be watched as a serious film but of a Caricatured psychotic thriller. Both travolta and cage are fantastic in this and if you didnt enjoy it for what it was, your insane

This is the best of John Woo's Hollywood movies. I mean, "Broken Arrow" and "Hard Target" are cool, and "Windtalkers" had some great stuff, but "Face/Off" is just SO entertaining, had some great characters and behaviors, and some outstanding action sequences. Classic Woo.

Stark_XLII Pretentious Millennials.....that's why lol. If it's not a Chris Nolan film or Marvel and it's from the 90's they're going to hate it. Everyone of these schmucks on here thinks they're a professional film critic.
