Yeah. I think when the star in a comedy dies before a movie is released, it just can't recover. Sadly, this movie was doomed. My opinion, anyway. I still love it, though. The entire movie just cracks me up. Good times.

HBO aired it several months ago. I've seen it on other channels too, but I think it's only shown on TV about once or twice a year.

I just watched it on Comedy Central today. That's what got me over here on the board for it. CC just started showing Almost Heroes recently.

I thought it was absolutely hilarious when I first saw it 7 years ago, and I still do. Not just Farley, but Matthew Perry is absolutely hilarious, even if it is nothing but Chandler Bing in the 1700's

Farley and Perry worked really well together. That film is hilarious. It's just really too bad these 2 will never pair up again...
Chris Farley was a genius.

caught this gem last night on HBO.. was so funny... much better than the crap that passes off as comedy these days... made me recollect how funny Chris Farley RIP was... egg shell scene was hilarious...
and of course the "worst of our troubles.." dialogue!!

Perry's mannerisms were "Friends"ish but he was funny...

did anyone catch the "oh my god" reference to Friends when the Bear comes visting!! i think it was anyways!

Definitely the most under-appreciated of Farley's movies. I think people felt weird seeing it right when it came out since his death hadn't happened too long before, so it took a cult following. This is the first time I've thought of coming to the board for this movie. I'm glad there's a whole bunch of other fans out there!
