If you notice, most of them are from decades ago. That means most of the mob guys are dead, or have no power whatsoever to do anything about it. If you were a mob boss now, would you really care what the media said about some guy from 20 yrs ago? Plus, the more they make it look like the mob has no power, the more influence the mob can have to operate.

The feds don't really care about the mob so much anymore, they are too busy with terrorism. The mob boss here has a Facebook page! lol

What makes you think they can do much about it these days?
In the long run the mafia cannot win against FBI.
In the old days they were so powerful and feared because no one had yet infiltrated their ranks, no one had broken the code of silence, and the surveillance & forensics were nothing like today.
