Before she thought she had to starve herself to death inorder to be beautiful, she had curves, gorgeous face. after reqiuem of a dream she started her holocaust diet. such a shame. women starving themselves actually makes them hit menapause sooner and makes them wrinkled and old.

You are right, but I don't think it actually relates to this case. I've never seen a picture of Jennifer Connelly that looked remotely near obesity. If (and I say if, because I am not up on celebrity gossip) she dieted hard to become skinnier, I see no evidence in the pics. Her later version still looks healthy to me, if more slender. I can imagine the difference being just a typical actor's diet, not unlike an athlete's, intended to maintain the look that is "marketable".
