I can accept the strangers w powers, memory implanting, et al. BUT Jennifer getting with the main character TWICE?! And the second time when she wasn't even forced to by her memories? c'mon Hollywood

Yeah - she's just stunning.
I did think that someone helped Murdoch out by not imprinting 'Anna' with a new husband - that would have messed things up a bit.

A knockout! I much prefer the ending we see (and after all they're just off to Shell Beach together...the rest is left to the imagination), than her character just being forgotten about.

I don't think the odds were that far off. After all, it was a rather confined space they were in. Besides, weren't you really rooting for her to get back with Rufus Sewell rather than, say, Anne Hathaway?!

Since we're never told who these people were in their original lives before the Strangers came, my interpretation of it is that, maybe, coincidentally, John and Emma/Anna happened to be married back then and a little part of that - their "souls", if you will - carried over no matter how many times they've been imprinted. So they were naturally drawn to each other.

SOUL MATE, and when you have a soul mate, you find each other across time, space, battlefields, No Man’s Lands, Hell and infinity. You two were made for each other. He made you for each other. How do salmon know to return to the stream whence they were born, to spawn? The same way that soul mates find each other.

There are no coincidences, fountainhead (Ayn Rand, nice!). Good post.
