Who saw this in theaters when it was out? (Keeping it SPOILER free)

I saw it the Sunday after it got released. I was surprised not only by the story, but the EFX and setting as well. I saw it with my friend and her boyfriend, and they loved it just as much. When it came out on video, we watched it religiously. It is just that good!

I did. It quickly became one of my faves. I even bought the DVD when it came out. Hadn't seen it in quite a few years and couldn't help myself and just did and I have to say, at least for me, it has stood the test of time. It did not look aged--probably because it was filmed in dark sepia tones and the look was very retro to begin with.
