Similarities to total recall?




I have checked every thread on this site, even the "similar movies" and nowhere does it mention total recall.

Perhaps I'm the only one that thinks this, but from the first 10 minutes all I could think of was the similarities between dc and tr

Before I dive deeper just the idea of quaid and Murdoch having their "memories" taken from them and their questioning what is real, with the underlying theme of what makes the person who they are. Gut instinct or memories.

Does anybody else feel this or am I

Get your ass to shell beach.
-They both didn't have a real wife, but one was pretending and the other imprinted.
-They both have people chasing the protagonist who know what's really going on

-They both have a giant alien machine
-They both had an ideal sense of a better place to live, and end up with bright sunny blue skies.

I think it bears more similarity to "The Matrix" especially since the original purpose of the humans was a vast neural network the machines used as extra (or perhaps of a type they did not possess) brain power.

I think the creators of the movie decided that was too complex for audiences to comprehend so they settled on harvesting "bio-energy."

It's spelled Raymond Luxury Yacht, but it's pronounced 'Throat-Warbler Mangrove'

I thought of the Matrix when John stops the knife in front of his face. It didn't remind me of total recall.
