How to get to Shell Beach

In the movie nobody remembered how to get to Shell Beach. This is how: I live in Santa Barbara. From Santa Barbara you take the 101 Freeway north, past Buellton, past Santa Maria, past Arroyo Grande (my old home town) and finally just past Pismo Beach. Shell Beach is a small community to your left overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Growing up, I remember a huge man-made dinosaur there, which we looked forward to seeing on our way to San Luis Obispo for shopping. Sadly, it is no longer there.

I think I might have gone past it on that free shuttle bus that runs in Pismo Beach during the summer.
