Even though both are 90s action movie cheese, I wouldn't really compare them because Air Force one is not tongue-in-cheek and unapologetically over the top like this movie. Air Force One is a semi-serious movie with dramatic death scenes and genuine shocking moments.

It's pretty much the same answer as Armageddon vs. Deep Impact, and for the same reason.

In each set, one of the movies took itself way too seriously and suffered greatly for it. The other one, although more preposterous, had much more interesting characters, much more action, much more humor, and much more re-watchability.

Con Air, I loved Nicolas Cage's mid-90's action movies when I was teenager. Heck, even at 37 I still do!

IMO Not even close....

Con Air is in a completely different league....

This was one Of N Cage's best roles and performances

Con Air is one of my favorite action movies
