Cause the entire movie is set outside in broad daylight in a wide open desert area, i just know all the scenes would pop in 4K and look beautiful. Cause from my experience most 4K's look amazing in daylight scenes, so the thought of a movie thats almost set in daylight the entire run time in 4K intrigues me.
Not sure if its got a 4K in the works or not but i hope it does, thats why i'm holding off on getting the blu ray.

shareIt's getting a 4K release this October in 'Paramount Scares Volume 2'. Other movies in the bundle are Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981), World War Z (2013) & Orphan: First Kill (2022).
Will likely get a solo 4K release at some point...
Oh really? Damn i might have to get that then just for Breakdown, been dying to see how good that will look in 4K. Also i believe the blu ray of Breakdown has been out of print for a long time so this also makes the 4K more of a must buy for me. Friday The 13th Part 2 in 4K is also really cool, so would be worth getting the set for me.
