This is one of the best films of Kurt Russells career and perhaps the best film of Jonathan Mostows directing resume along with U571. This was a well staged and crafted thriller that feels like it pays the utmost respect to Hitchcocks style of suspense. I grew up with this movie and it's one of the best movie's ive ever seen Kurt Russell in and J.T Walsh. The latter was a tremendous loss to the industry when he passed but here he is just simply amazing and downright creepy. Breakdown is an awesome movie. Period.
