Love this movie but I always get so frustrated watching the dinner table scene when Kurt Russell finally gets the upper hand. I would have shot Santa Claus and the young kidnapper in the face and then shot his wife in the shoulder to show the guy in charge that I wasn't f_uckin around.
Haha Not sure what the hell I would do when the kid showed up out of nowhere and pointed a gun at me, though.
I loved the movie, but that scene frustrated me too. I think I would have shot them too.
shareHe's a yuppie from the east who is used to a quiet lifestyle and not used to handling guns. He also has a conscience and doesn't see himself as a cowboy type like the people he had the drop on. I also got the feeling that he, as a reasonable person, assumed that the others would submit to reason and just let him go and not risk getting shot.
