I love Farley, but this......

Is one of the most aggressively bad comedies I’ve ever seen.

I try not to believe the hype when it comes to movies that are “known” to be awful, but after watching this for the first time, sad to say it is true. Farley is great in some scenes, but they are few and far between. I actually felt bad for both him and Chris Rock for being attached to this garbage, and how awful they must have felt watching this upon release.

Why would Farley have taken this roll? Surely he had some options at this point in his career. I imagine this script must have been on the bottom of Hollywood’s desk, so why would an obviously awful script get passed onto to one of the great comedic talents of the 90s?

christian bale said it was his favorite movie.
