Was this movie parodying James Bond by way of Demolition Man?

Both movies involve the protagonist and his nemesis frozen for many years, and then having difficulties with the social morays of my time. Both movies also include falling in love with the woman (Elizabeth Hurley and Sandra Bullock's characters respectively) assigned to assist and acclimate the protagonist to modern times.
