The Fembots were always my favourite women of the Austin Powers series.
Just as you said, I've always interpreted the Fembots' design as appealing to dominant beauty standards, the desires of superficial men - or at least how male desire is distorted through the western media. Thus, in light of these established models, their breasts, blondness, are given prominence, and their outfits are of 'feminine' tones (pink, lavender).
