Why wasn't this filmed in England?!
I can't believe that you could have a movie about a British spy and not film it in Britain!! What were they thinking?
shareI'm sure they knew what they were doing. They only needed to film a few scenes in Eng-uh-lend. Then there's the Las Vegas episode and the western desert scenes.
SoCal is really film-production-friendly, and there's cost. Even Wayne's World (1992) was shot mostly in SoCal, with only a few scenes in the Chicago area. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0105793/locations?ref_=tt_dt_dt
