I know I'm being much more literal than the OP intended (I suspect anyway that the original post was possibly a bit of a) homo-panic at the thought of being between another man's legs and b) ageism because Jon Voight is no longer a young hunk), but I'd reckon the snake would be the worse way to go.
At least if you're strangled you'd black out fairly quickly. But anacondas kill their prey by crushing their bodies - compressing all their bones until they shatter within the still-living body, and pulping all the still-functioning internal organs - so their easier to swallow - ostensibly still alive ... it would be a death of incredible pain and terror. Uggghh.
