Snake mobility after eating?

Wouldn't the snake be unable to move with people in its stomach?

reply

Snakes that large would barely be able to move Period. Let alone after ingesting 100+ more lbs.

True. The biggest farce OF the movie was the way they were making the snake move. Outside of water, those things are sloths. They're simply too massive to have that kind of agility and quickness it was showing. That and their skin is so soft that the guy in the beginning of the movie didn't even need to commit suicide. A well placed shot and the movie would've been over.

Not exactly. There were two Anacondas in the movie (the mother at the end and it's baby throughout). Not to mention that if two existed, there had to be more in this universe, that we weren't shown.

I thought the snake that was chasing them was her mate. Serone called it a warrior snake. Plus it was full grown. And it makes sense that they would be mates given the babies that are shown. Also, The anaconda probably regurgitated it's food (like the female did with Serone) so it could attack again. This was explained better in the second movie. Also, it did have babies to feed.

Yes. Its scientific name is anacondaes hollywoodes

I tend to think that the mobility OF the anaconda would be compromised after devouring several 200lb humans. They no doubt would feel sluggish and not be able to swim as deft on the river with its inherent currents, tides etc. I know speaking from my own experience, if I were to eat 16oz of meat, I would feel sluggish and potentially tired- I would not want to partake in rigorous activities such as swimming, running, jumping etc.

I like your post because it is informative and clever. I have no idea why you capitalized the "OF" for emphasis. I keep re-reading it and can't figure a way to emphasize that word.

I got nothing.
