Danny Trejo?

Can someone please tell me how much screen-time he has in this movie? I don't remember seeing him at all, and even when I first saw it back in 1997 I don't remember seeing him.

He plays a character at the very beginning who's being hunted down by the snake. His boat was the one they find and search later in the movie. He was also in the newspaper picture with Serone and Mateo holding a long snake that Serone tore down, when they discovered the boat later on. So it's implied that his character and Serone are poachers, along with Mateo, and possibly more people, trying to capture a live Anaconda.

As for his scenes, he's only in the opening. The snake comes up to his boat with only him and some live animals on it. You don't see the snake in the beginning, only a POV shot.

I don't want to spoil it so I'll leave it at that. You should remember him if you know the opening.

One of the best B movie dudes out there and he's in it for only 5 mins. I would have rather seen him as the villian than Voight.

He's in it for a few minutes and just gets a few lines on a radio-call he makes before being chased by the snake and offing himself with a gun.

He's a great character show case, but not all his work is B-movie by any means. He had a pretty decent character role in Heat, for example.

Spoiler much? LOL

No thanks John Voight was great in this role.

It looked nothing like him in this movie.

Huh, I thought it was obviously him. However it sounded like they had someone else overdub his lines - the voice didn't sound like his...
