I HATED the wife.

Wendy Crewson is my one gripe about this film. She is as wooden and annoying here as she was in the Good Son, which was a horrible film in my opinion. I didn't buy her crying or fear. It's like they couldn't get a better actress to play her and could only get her instead.

Dana Delany, Jacklyn Smith, Angela Basset... Anybody but Wendy Crewson.

Dana Delany would have been a much better choice,, Betty White even.. yeah I really didn't care for the wife either,, wooden acting, seemed to be going to thru the motions if you ask me.
