Could this have lead to war? (Spoilers)

Given some of the things that happened throughout the movie:

* The death of the General Radek.
- A huge amount of the population seemed to support him from what we were shown, meaning many would be furious that he had been killed. This could have easily been blamed on America given that they had: initiated his initial capture, requested his release, and then quickly changed their mind resulting in him being shot in the back trying to escape.
* The hostile invasion of Kazahstani airspace with a sortie of F-15's
* The subsequent shooting down of three MIG fighters during an important military operation

On the other side, you would have:

* A seriously pissed off American public which was informed by The Vice President that an attempt made on The Presidents life by a terrorist organization.
* It would have looked like this hijacking had also been endorsed by the Kazahstani government based on the MIGs that had been sent from a "supportive commander" at a local base that had sent planes in, in hopes of shooting down Air Force One and killing The President of the United States, part of his cabinet and The First Family.

Does anyone else feel like these actions might have lead to a possible war between America and Kazahstan, if something like this had happened in real life or is it just me? Seems like this movie is about due for a sequel!

Is that really the case? It was Korshunov who ordered the plane into Kazakhstan, and once Marshall got back control of Air Force One he changed course to get out of Kazakhstan. As for the F-15s, they were protecting Air Force One from attack by the MiGs.

Not that Radek loyalists would care about these details, but there you have it.

As for your question - nah. Come on, we're talking about Kazakhstan here - they just lost half their entire air force, lol.
