Reboot Idea

Here’s an idea for a reboot; The Stargate program has been out of operation for several years, but a renegade group of goauld are desperate to conquer Earth, so Daniel Jackson is called in to put together a new team to stop this threat. It is revealed that the leader of this group of goauld is a daughter he had with Hathor (from their sexual experiences in the SG-1 episode “Hathor”) and she claims Earth as her birthright and it adds a personal level to the conflict with Daniel and her being related (i.e. Daniel feeling guilt about his relationship with Hathor, the new villain debating which side she should be on). Could be a way to jumpstart a new series while still having a realistic connection to the original show.
