I tend to binge favorite shows and I thought it might get better but no... McManus is a clueless, conceited pussy and I don't see how the people he works with don't beat his ass. He plays concerned with Kenny's education while putting him in a cell with Adebisi. A lot of those pods only have one occupant, but he likes to put other newbies with Adebisi as well. He has to know these guys are getting raped in his experimental cell block that is supposed to be better than others. In the meantime he focuses his attention on a hyperactive, drug addicted lunatic that stabs him and later on kicks the crap out of him. He is blind and beyond stupid.

And *beep* Howell? She was ugly enough as it was but seeing her topless was just sickening. It's not because she doesn't have the perfect body by media standards, she's just ugly and a complete nightmare.

Probably more "real life" than we'd like to admit! How many bikini models are going to be security in a maximum security prison? I understand your frustration; plenty out there for all of us!  

I wouldn't expect models but Howell was hideous by average standards. Wittlesy was not drop dead gorgeous but she was pretty. Probably even more in civvies with a bit of makeup, but I can understand not wanting to fix hair and wear makeup working as a CO in a place like that. I think the riot would have been far worse for her if Said's guys hadn't gotten to her before anyone else (like Adebisi). Said was a pompous ass but he had his guys under control and he would not have allowed them to assault her. And that's along with one of them being in prison for severely beating a rapist on the street. Honestly, I don't think anyone in Em City at the time would rape a woman except Adebisi, Vahue, and maybe Wangler.
