Who's death brought you the most satisfaction and who's the least

I'm currently watching the series for the 2nd time. I'm almost done with season 5.
Neither death has happened yet but Vern's the most, Said the least.
That's not taking any completely innocent victims into count. Like Tony's son or father, etc.
I know my answers are boring to most but I'm interested to hear what others think.

Also who's would you have liked to see that didn't happen?

Mine was Claire Howell.

There were other deaths that were upsetting to me as well but there's too many to list.

Most Satisfying: Vern Schillinger
Least Satisfying: Leo Glynn, he didn't deserve to die, in my opinion.
Most Unexpected: Kareem Said
Who deserved it, but didn't get it: Claire Howell

reply

I was sad when poor Rev Cloutier died.

reply

Most Satisfying: Timmy Kirk, and I forgot name of the guy who's been *beep* by spoon
Least Satisfying: Kareem Said
Most unexpected: Chris Keller
Who deserved it, but didn't get it: CLAIRE HOWELL

Favorite: Wangler.

Least: Antonio Nappa.

Most Surprising: Adebisi. I never thought that would happen on the show.

Should have gotten it: O'Reilly.

You are the naked angel in my heart.

Most: Split between Officer Metzger and Timothy Kirk.
Least: Warden Glynn most probably. I found it a bad call. Said's death should've been more meaningful too. They got too busy killing off characters in S6.

I can agree with Kirk because he was getting too big for his britches! The way he manipulated and threatened people was over the top for his circumstances; esp; since he was gay! What CONS do you know would actually allow themselves to be led by him?

Funny, I didn't particularly care about Glynn by the end! He was almost as corrupt as they come without actually killing the prisoners himself! He allowed experiments that backfired and of course kept cons in solitary after the Doctor informed them that something in there was poisonous! He barely blinked, but felt compelled to leave them in there! That was insane in so many ways! He should have become an inmate like the Governor at the end! ;-)

Most satisfying death: Kenny, such a cute guy but damn I hated him
Most upsetting: Beecher's dad! Richard Gilmore got butchered! Not only was he a humanitarian lawyer he wasn't an inmate. It really upset me when he died. So much so that the first time I watched that episode it was all I could think about for a long while.
Most shocking: Adebisi! I really couldn't believe that such a strong and 3 dimensional character was taken out. Between him and Said I'd rather Adebisi bit it but I was still shocked that that's what it came to
Who deserved to die? Claire haha. Nasty bitch.

I can't disagree with any of your comments; esp. about Claire and Richard. Why was he wandering around there alone anyway? Oz's a prison, not a day care center.

reply

Thanks, glad I'm not alone!

Kenny's death. I loved it. I didn't have anything particularly against him until he started bullying that french guy and stole his shoes.

reply

And that poor French guy was only in there for breaking a statue!

reply

IIRC, that was some serious vandalism he perpetrated. To go out of one's way to deface ART is a capital offense IMO. He's robbing history, enjoyment of others, and trashing something very valuable in more ways than one. "DEATH" to this a-hole. lol...

Considering he was sharing space wth mass murderers he was small fry

Kenny Wangler's death was the most satisfying to me because he deserved every bit of what came to him and, though he was given a chance to redeem himself(albeit ruined by Adebisi), he wasn't fazed a bit by Coyle's completely effed up crime of murdering a family and video taping it. Wangler really was a complete piece of garbage by the time he got shot by the French guy. As much as it doesn't make sense that the French dude got thrown in a maximum security prison, the fact that he shot Kenny made it worth it.

A close second was Mark Mack. Though we didn't know much about him, we knew enough that he deserved to have the tunnel collapse on top of him. I can't imagine a single person who has seen the episode didn't root for the tunnel. He was also a piece of crap.

For me, the least satisfying death was Schillinger. By that episode, he wasn't that much of a threat to Beecher anymore. At least not more than any of the other gangs. I don't think the writers could have let him live by that point, but it also just wasn't as satisfying as if they had him killed in seasons 4 or 5(either directly or indirectly by Beecher).
