What will happen to the reboot since Dale's voice actor died?

Will they write him off or recast?

I assume they will recast. Recasting happens in animated items fairly easy. They just have to sound/act like the original character. They do not have to look like it.

How many Popeyes, Mickey Mouses, and Charlie Browns have we heard over the decades? It doesn't really matter, as long as the voice actor does a reasonable replication of the original.
