I wonder how much different it would've been. Yes, I know such a concept is impractical because Greg Daniels and Mike Judge were little children in the 1970s, but for the sake of argument, how would KOTH have fared if it was around in the '70s? Would it be like a Texan All in the Family?

Hank is conservative, but seemed more logical and respectful than Archie Bunker.

There was an animated show called "Wait 'Til Your Father Gets Home" in the early 70s where the father acted very similar to Hank. He even had a neighbor who was a conspiracy nut like Dale. I've always wondered if that show somehow inspired KOTH.
