[SPOILER] Luanne's relationship in Season 13

GOD it made me so damn angry that she married Lucky 😡

Like I know I shouldn't judge, love is blind and yada yada.... but goddamn could she do soooo much better. She's young, sexy, has a steady job and is kind-hearted.

Me too, I hate that the writers hooked her up with that ugly moronic hillbilly of all people, he's old enough to be her father for crying out loud, they also ruined her character and made her so much dumber than she had ever been before and all that character development she had acquired throughout the series was just thrown out the window.

I didn't think abiuot that, but now that you mention it with the baby's arrival she's sorta regressed and stuff. I really rooted for her heh

If you looked at all of Luanne's boyfriends from previous seasons, you'd see that Lucky (despite some flaws) was probably the best guy she dated.

Annoying the world since 1960!

i agree with comicguy & skribb...i hate lucky and that luanne got with him...but, your comment makes me think that maybe the creators were trying to teach us a lesson, sometimes it's how a person treats you not looks that really matters? heck i don't know....but i would prefer luanne be with a different man, or be a single mother that role would be more fitting for her. and i don't know how long jack is going to live, but maybe luanne can take over the business and be her own boss? but i honestly wish an episode would have been done that honed in on her mechanic skills with cars, she could have easily brought home the bacon that way.

The more personalities you have the less boring you are!

Tom Petty is a great musician and singer, but he made a terrible cartoon character, I had to hit the mute button whenever Lucky spoke with his misshapen baked bean teeth. I know it's only a cartoon but they ruined Luanne.

I thought they were made for each other. I hated them both. Lol

Luanne is the sweetest

Would of been hilarious if she had ended up with Bill.

Wasn't Luanne only there for the female demographic? To broaden the appeal of the show? I feel the show would of been better off without her. Would made Bobby's presence all the more special, strengthening one of the core values of the
series- Hank and son.

reply

I honestly didn't care for Lucky.

I agree, I said it before that about 2004 is where koth went downhill because Luanne went downhill. She wasn't the brightest, but she wasn't outright stupid and selfish as she was when lucky became a character. How she had no regard for Dale because she wanted a big fancy wedding. Her character just degraded terribly around 2004. For her to be attracted to him because of his rims, and his shiny tooth or his yellow tooth, lmao. Although lucky might've been the best guy she's dated throughout the series. They were just horrible together, although lucky was sweet, they could've gave them about 15 points higher iq combined

In general, I hate what they did to Luanne's character. Early on in the series, she was capable and certainly not dumb. Hell, Hank trusted her enough to work on his truck! But slowly, as the seasons went on, she became stupider and stupider, and now she's at a point where it's amazing she even knows how to clean the tires of a truck.

Lucky himself isn't a bad guy and I kinda like him as a character, but he and Luanne aren't very compatible. I know he's always trying to improve himself to give his family a better future, but by being with him, I feel like Luanne's undoing all that work she did to keep herself from becoming trailer trash like her parents.

Yeah pretty much!
