She and Larry are supposed to live this life of "live and let live" and not trying to enforce your beliefs on others. But Abby was so judgemental of Kitty and Greg. You'd think that Kitty and/or Edward would be the most judgemental but they turned out to be the most accepting of the Finkelsteins. I couldn't stand Abby throughout the series.

It is that Edward and Kitty don't try to hide their beliefs behind anything. When confronted with her idiocyncrincies, Kitty tends to be pretty blase and cynical about it. She doesn't pretend to love and want to hug the whole world.
Abby, on the other hand, is one of those types that is very biased but doesn't think she is a bigot in anyway, but she really is.
Also the show does a good job of Showing how Dharma does have conflicting values because of how she was raised. One reason I like the show is it doesn't show the man being wrong all the time. (I'm looking at you King of Queens...) But it doesn't show him being right all the time either. It actually shows, in comedic sitcom form, a healthy relationship with two people of vastly different backgrounds. Both sides of the 'realtionship" are exaggerated - each set of parents are caricatures of their real life counterparts. (However I gotta admit I have met hippy types that were very, very close to what is portrayed in the series. I just called them "Crazy" XD.)

shareAbby was far and away my least favorite character on the show. In fact I really did not like her at all. Between the politically correctness and the New Age garbage....and the way she dressed and her hair....and particularly the way she sounded. Kitty was a bitch but she was funny. I never thought Abby was funny. I mean, aging hippies can be amusing, even attractive. She wasn't. An opportunity was missed by the creators of the show when they make her such a drag.
