and liked it. the second season seemed too weird so i gave up. but people seem to like the series a lot and probably prefer the series after season one compared to the first season itself. i see some of it on tv at work and don’t think i’d change my opinion on it. looks too soap opery. smg was cute though.
shareI love the first season, it's my favourite together with season 2. Don't know why you gave up on that one. It's got a great story arc, villains and character development.
shareit went downhill later seasons with the addition of Dawn and Spike suddenly becoming a love interest for Buffy. Whatever Joss's personal problems/issues, it's obvious that when he wasn't closely supervising production, it suffered. They needed to have cancelled it when he left.
