Why do I remember there being another season of Buffy or some sort or reboot post season 7? I'm not talking comics, either, i'm talking proper live action...
This memory obviously comes from another dimension, perhaps the same one where Lilah got her copy of Rhinehardt's Compendium. I knew it! All our memories have been wiped!!
Or maybe our reality has been altered, like the spells that changed everyone's memories for the benefit of Connor and the creation of Dawn.
You might be getting mixed up with the movie or the Chaos Bleeds video game.

There was Angel Season 5, said spinoff's last season that came after Buffy Season 7 while even further set afterwards, a motion-comic DVD release of Buffy Season Eight's first half.
Superman & The [Red-Blue] Blur = The Man of Steel
It's weird. It was a dream I had. One of those dreams you wake up from and you feel was so real that you have to make sure. Of course there wasn't another season.
I had a dream about Buffy being back for an 8th season, too, and it was VIVID. I remember, in the dream, being shocked it had returned and even some vague details of what it was about, and I remember in the dream I was like "How is this back?" But it was, and I was even behind episodes and trying to catch up.
It was so vivid that I swear for 2 days afterward I was convinced Buffy had had some sort of TV revival and I scoured online sources to prove it and eventually realized I had imagined it.
recklesscow, that's super creepy..I felt nearly the exact same way. Very vivid. In my dream, the season wasn't good and was critically panned and I think couple of the actors might have been replaced. Really frightening dream in that sense that it really left a lasting impression. I don't like the idea of not being able to tell reality.
I had a dream Charisma Carpenter had landed a new show on HBO. I wasn't really interested until I saw a trailer for it and noticed they were showing clips of David Boreanaz and demons and vampires. And that's when I realized it was a Cordy spin-off. On HBO! I couldn't believe it.
Then my alarm woke me up and reality slapped me in the face.
