Season 5 and 6 Buffy dealt with a lot, but...

It still would've been nice to see Buffy complete college.

Joss said on commentary he wanted to focus on real adult struggles.

I gotta say he's wrong about that. College is a real adult struggle.

You are sin.

College is a real adult struggle.

Indeed, but so is having to give up college to focus on home problems.

I disagree.

I wouldn't call going to college a real 'adult' struggle. Maybe young adult struggle but I went to University when I was in my late teens and the only adults there were people who had dropped out of school when they were younger or finished school late. Most adults have jobs, homes, families and have to pay bills.

I'm not confrontational, I was just joking. If I came across as rude, I apologize.

I would have preferred her to as wel or at least so much more to explore in campus life in general. It's unrealistic that Buffy didn't drink and she didn't like school really. It's funny that Joss said that about "real adult struggles" since its way more common to attend college in 2016 compared to when Buffy aired. Also, you can attend school on top of all adult issues and it's even more to deal with.
