Tara resurrection
If Amber Benson weren't unavailable, would you have liked to see Tara be resurrected in the series finale? I would've been over the moon to see that.

shareI loved Tara but no, it would have cheapened the character's death, I was happy to see Willow move on to Kennedy.

Omg no.
First of all, I would have loved to see Tara alive again. I think Willow and her were soulmates and they are my favorite tv couple ever, so, obviously I would love that to happen.
I am still grieving for Tara, after all these years and I hope to see her & Willow again at least on comics.
Second, Keneddy? You got to be kidding me. She is a spoiled brat, too young for
I was saying. Keneddy was/is a spoiled brat, too young for Willow and with a lot of attitude.
I HATE her. The only reason she had a chance with Willow was because they were living at the same place and Willow was too vulnerable. It was a crappy time for her.
She was the opposite of Tara and even Oz.
Worst couple ever.
Kennedy was way overdone. Her initial advances towards Willow were creepy at best. In fact, if Kennedy were a male character and had acted that way towards Willow's female character, it would be sexual harrassment at the least. But because they were lesbian, it was somehow "OK"? Not in my book.

I agree with a previous poster that killing off Tara to trigger Dark Willow was a cop-out. I actually got over Tara and Willow as a couple some time in season five. I was more interested in seeing Tara developed sans Willow, which never happened. But no to the res.
shareAs much as I would have loved to have seen Tara return for the final episode I think they made the right decision not bringing the character back in the long run 'cause they would have just undid everything that happened in the final episodes of Season 6 with Willow becoming evil for a short time and made it pointless.
Tara's death was the saddest moment in the entire show to me but people lose people who are close to them all the time and they can't bring them back either and death is a part of life.

Baby, you're crazy

AFAIK they only dropped these plans because Amber Benson was unavailable.

It is too bad really. Had Amber Benson played Tara in "Conversations with Dead People". Instead if the nonsensical rehash of an unimportant character. It would have been haunting and Emmy worthy. It would have freaked me the F out. Josh kind of fk'd himself on this one. Or even worse, he took the easy road.
"You always half-scared me"
"That's because you're smart"

She felt her character and Tara's relationship with Willow was very important to fans who identified with them on some level, particularly those who were gay. Even though it wouldn't technically be Tara, but rather a malevolent spirit posing as Tara, she felt it would have sent the wrong message, and disturb too many of those fans to see what appeared to be Tara encouraging Willow to commit suicide.
