'Dead Things' episode- Spuffy sex scene on balcony

I fell in love with Spike when I was 16 years old. And again at 22 years old.
Rewatching the series at 30 years old- I wasn't sure what I ever really liked about him UNTIL he "enters" Buffy on the balcony at the Bronze- and OMG!!! I am head over heels in love again! He is so intense! And that scene is sooooooo intense- I feel like I am 16 years old again!

Not trying to cause a conflict here but, I'm wondering, how'd the bathroom scene in "Seeing Red" treat you?

I'm not to that episode yet... but in the past- in my youth- it was hard to watch. I remember understanding why Spike kinda lost himself but as a victim of sexual assault- I can't imagine Buffy ever getting over that. Even when Spike got his soul back. I understood why she cringed when he got close to touching her... she was traumatized.
No worries about causing conflict. I'm happy to hear other people's opinions. Thank you for respecting mine. ?

Well, if she could forgive him for trying to murder her and her family/friends while he still didn't have a soul, she could also forgive him for that.

And he did save the World!!!

It certainly upped the kinky quotient even if you don't actually see anything, amazing they could get away with 5th base.

Intense is the right word for their relationship, no matter if they are enemies, allies or lovers, it's always intense. And that's what I'm missing most in the comics. They are together, but Spike has lost all his edge. The writers don't really seem to know him and the core of their relationship.
