have a marathon or something. and play all of the older disney movies. like....
wish upon a star. stepsister from planet weird. seventeen again. the other me. Horse sense. the second one...i can't remember what it was called. susie q.
was h.e. double hockey sticks a disney movie?
so weird. lizzie mcguire. the famous jet jackson. even stevens. boy meets world. smart guy.
For sure you have to include a ring of endless light and the paper brigade and SMART HOUSE (even though they actually still play that movie from time to time)
Disney should play this again, though they'll have to cut out the parts that include mentions of "losing virginity" or an 18-year-old Danielle Harris touching her breasts in that one scene where Alexia discovers she's in Hayley's body.
Either that or make a remake of it starring Bridgit Mendler as Alexia and Dakota Fanning or Skyler Samuels as Hayley.
Model Behavior Luck of the Irish Halloween Towns, but they play these around halloween. The Zeenon movies Then there are the movies of shows (Famous Jett Jackson, Lizzie McGuire, Even Stevens, The thirteenth year PUNKS Leave it to Beaver There was that one where the white girl from South Africa lives with the black girl in America.
I think this was a disney show, but I could be mistaken, but Brotherly Love with the Lawerence Brothers. I barely remember this one. I just remember one scence where one made it look like he was climbing something. Then you see that he was on the floor. Also, those camp shows where they were kids at camp, I think it was normally just on during the summer. Also, there was this one where they would put kids in four different rooms, and you have to take objects from your room and go out and meet up with the others, and then you have to make up a game with rules in 20 minutes. Lloyd is Space Dave the Barbarian The Jersey In a Heartbeat Recess Sister, Sister
They still show model behavior, and luck of the irish. I've seen them on a few times recently. They show the lizzie mcguire and even stevens movie quite often. The thirteenth year has been on several times.
Dave the barbarian wasn't an oldie... That one was about 3 years old? 4?
definitely make a Retro Disney channel with all those classics. From Steamboat Willie to the great 90s stuff. The OG original Disney channel movie The Color of Friendship, Doug (BrandSpankin New & the original run). and all that other Zoog stuff. totally open up possibilities for new films with PepperAnne, The Jersey reboots, new campers or Bug Juice, In A Heartbeat reunions, and a whole lot more! don't know what that four different rule game is ... come on, Jett Jackson! get this network up and runnin, y'all ~
Color of Friendship was the one where the girl comes from South Africa. One of my favorites. I miss the old Disney. I haven't had access to cable for a couple years now, but it doesn't surprise me that they don't show too many of these movies any more. I was gonna buy Wish Upon a Star on Amazon, but they were wanting an astronomical price for it. Brand new movies cost less than that.
Anyway, I miss the old Zoog Disney. The movies were awesome. The stuff today is ok, but it's not what I grew up with. Anyone remember Flash Forward? The girl who played in that later went on to be in Firefly and Serenity. I kinda miss the countdowns that they did on Saturday afternoons, remember that? All the big music videos of the day, they played the top throughout the afternoon. I remember Backstreet Boys, I Want It That Away always seemed to be #1. Boy Meets World was also a good show even though I don't think it was Disney originally. And Susie Q, I had forgotten all about that one until someone mentioned it. So many memories, I could go on and on.
I, myself, would love that! The only problem with it, is, it doesn't appeal to kids of now-a-days. So, unfortunately, in a time of where money is the most important thing in media, Disney wouldn't do it because it wouldn't get them any viewers which would mean no money. :\
