If they were auctioning off the horse..


Why did they not want to sell it at the end? They claimed it was such a big part of their family and living room, but they were going to get rid of it at the begininng of the movie. That always bothered me.

An even bigger question was why they considered either option.

The horse was stolen from Zsa Zsa Gabor who quite legally purchased it at an auction. Their only option at this point would be to return it to her and if she wanted to sell it for $20M then that would be her boon to consider... ;-)

Ah, so, from another thread on here someone suggests that Carol may have been so gullible that she believed Roy when he said that Zsa Zsa gave it to him/them and so they may be operating from the point of view that it is theirs again.

A weak plot point...
