Colour
The colour was more pronounced in the sequel. It had a real classic 60's 70's colour just like the shows back then.

I'm glad you noticed that, cause I do too. The color difference between the first movie and the sequel is sort of the same as the color difference between the first 2 or the seasons of the show and the last 2 seasons. I've definitely noticed a difference, and that's part of why the last seasons are my favorite, because the brightness lightens the movie, makes it feel cheerier and somehow magical, just the touch a nonsensical comedy needs. I love it!
