I dont get why at the ending Jeannie said that Mike was her husband. I dont know to much about the 60's shows so excuse me if I sound like an idiot

yea, i didn't like that either. gilligan's island was made by schwatz too, but was i dream of jeannie?

it was just a tribute to the 60's tv shows like micheal mceahan was on laverne and shirley and was the neighbor in the brady bunch movie

Really lame. It made you think " Am I missing something?" It dident fit. It was gay as hell and it wasent funny at all. A terrible ending.

I agree that the ending moment of Jeannie claiming to be Mike's first wife was stupid.

Because Jeannie was Mikes wife in his teenage dreams in the late 60s. Maybe he always wanted to marry her when he was a teenage boy.

She was in her 20s when she did the original show. It was 30 years later. Nobody's face stays the same in that period of time.

It was just a funny reference to popular 60s tv shows like the Brady Bunch. It was funny because they didn't try to elaborate on it or make it real. It was just the last thing you saw in the movie. Besides, they made reference to Carol Brady's husband being the Professor from Gilligan's Island which they could get away with because he never really had a name on the show other than "Professor" and we never new Carol's maiden name before. At least, those names weren't common knowledge.

You are wrong about the Professor. His name, Roy Hinkley, was only mentioned a couple of times.

martin would have been her husband's name. so it's not carol's maiden name

If they were going to go that route at least have it bee Mrs Howell (as she was the only women on the island who would have been old enough to have 3 sons) but as I said in another post I did enjoy but admittly it made no sense sense Jeanine had no connection to ether Gilligan's Island or the Brady Bunch
