Is ShaNaNa (vintage clothing) a real store?
During the ShaNaNa sequence the kids drag Roy into a vinage clothing store called ShaNaNa. Is this a real vinage clothing store, or did they just make it up for the movie?
shareThis is a late reply, I know, but that store is dressed up for the movie. In reality, it's a place called Urban Outfitters and it's on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, California. So the physical store and location are real, just the name and decor were changed.
shareA late reply to your late reply, but thanks! I figured it would have been too much of a coincidence for there to be a real store called ShaNaNa that sells 70s vintage clothing!

shareA later later respond. From what i now of, then there are 60s and 70s vintage clothing stores in London, U.K.
Saw it in a documentary once on TV a couple of years ago and from what they said, then these stores should be a big hit.
